About Ras il-Hobz Bay

Ras l-Hobs also know as the Middle Finder is a peak rising from a depth of over 40 meters to about 10 meters. It is located in the town of Ghajnsielem Between the bays of  Xatt l-Ahmar and Mgarr ix-Xini. This location is very popular with dog walkers and Divers.

Diving:

The Summit attracts many sea creatures such as amberjacks, dentin, moray eels it also attracts crabs, hermit crabs and various coral species in its cracks. The coastline drops to a depth of around 80 meters but the most amazing sections of this dive site can be reached at about the maximum depth of 25 meters.  This site is also used for diving training because it is sufficiently deep from the shore.

The bay is used a lot by divers, especially for beginners as they can run into the water themselves.
